Oh wow. This is really interesting. I took this step for granted based on some early advice, and hadn’t taken the time to delve much into it since. PeerJS has been causing some problems because it’s been mostly unmaintained for the past couple of years. A colleague recently suggested looking at the node webRTC module as a substitute.
